Christian Education 2012-13

Pre-K through Fifth Grade
Sundays at 10am, continuing to the Peace at the 10:30 service
Sixth through Twelfth Grades
C.E. is part of the Episcopal Youth Community (EYC), alternate Sundays at 6:30 to 8:15 pm
Adult Class
Sundays beginning at 9:30
Bible Study
Meets Wednesdays at 10:00a.m.
Education for Ministry
EFMis a graduate-level program to prepare each adult to carry out his or her particular ministry. Monday Evenings at 7-10pm.

Acolytes Needed!

We are in need of acolytes between the ages of 10 and 18 (and their parents) who are willing to commit to a monthly service at 8am or 10:30am. All events are rotated monthly and your schedule can be accomodated. If interested, please contact the church office by e-mail or phone at 985-643-4531.

Holy Eucharist , Rite I . There is usually organ accompaniment for the hymns and service music, but no choir. The nursery is usually NOT available for this service , 8:00am

Choir Rehearsal in the Sanctuary , 9:30am
Java and Jesus adult Sunday School Class, in Wheeler House , 9:30am
Sunday School , grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade , 9:30am
Holy Eucharist , Rite II . Nursery available , 10:30am
Graduate Recognition We will recognize Christ Church's graduating seniors with a brief presentation and some light refreshments following the 10:30am service. , 11:45am
Confirmation Class for those interested in Confirmation or Reception on June 17th. , 5:00pm
Meeting of the Episcopal Youth Community in Wheeler House. A bit of prayer, Bible Study, dinner, games, and fun, all rolled up in one! , 6:30pm

Boy Scouts troop 98 meets in Comfort Hall , 6:30pm
Education for Ministry meets in Wheeler House. EFM is a four year postgraduate course to prepare adults for their particular ministries. , 6:30pm

The Welcome Team meets in the Wheeler House to plan publicity, greeting, fellowship, and special events , 6:30pm

English as a Second Language Class , a ministry of St. Tammany Literacy Assistance, is taught in Wheeler House , 7:00pm
